Lama Tsultrim Allione will present a practical application of a revolutionary approach developed by a legendary Tibetan yogini, Machig Labdrön, almost 1,000 years ago. She will lead us through an experiential 5-step process that can help you meet and release what the Tibetan's call 'demons'---the longings, fears, obsessions, illnesses and attachments we battle with everyday. We will learn how our inner and outer demons can be seen, nurtured, and transformed into allies.

Feeding the DemonsLama Tsultrim Allione is the founder and spiritual director of Tara Mandala, a Buddhist center in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. She was among the first American women ordained as a Tibetan nun in 1970 by His Holiness the 16th Karmapa and is one of the most respected Western teachers of Tibetan Buddhism. Lama Tsultrim is also the author of the groundbreaking book Women of Wisdom about the lives of great female Tibetan Buddhist practitioners.

In 2007, Lama Tsultrim was recognized as an emanation of Machig Labdron, while on pilgrimage in Tibet, by Karme Dorje Rinpoche, the resident Lama of Zangri Khangmar in Tibet which was Machig's residence from the age of 37 until her death at 99.
